Just as a sports coach helps an athlete grow in their field, a health coach can help anyone achieve their health goals and enhance the quality of their life in the process.
Health coaches can help with a wide variety of health issues, such as weight loss, stress reduction, or adapting the lifestyle to manage chronic conditions.
Why does it work?
There’s strong and increasing evidence backing its effectiveness - something that health fads and most of the diets lack. Much of the health coaching success comes from its individualized approach. This allows us to understand and address the actual root causes of health issues in a way that an online course or a generic diet cannot.
Additionally, the coaches bring their nutrition and health knowledge to the table, so they can educate the clients about healthy eating and lifestyle so they can make informed decisions. And while the client sits in the driver's seat of their care, the coaches support them by providing encouragement, holding accountability, and celebrating progress along the way. Primary and secondary foods
What nourishes us is not only the food on our plates. It's the love in our lives, the movement, the fulfilling career (whatever that means to you), the spiritual practice, the environment we live in, and so on. These non-food sources of nourishment fuel us, and I consider them Primary Foods. Think of children playing and getting to know the world; think of the time when you started falling in love or the time when you worked on that exciting project at work. You may forget to eat and still be full of energy, glowing in the eyes of others. The excitement and rapture of daily life feed us better than any food. The more primary food we give ourselves, the less we depend on secondary food. The Main Primary foods are Relationships, Physical Activity, Spirituality, and Career.

When a specific diet doesn't work for one person, it creates a sense of failure.
